A water lily bloomed in my medaka tank

睡蓮、メダカ、エビ

Sometimes you can see water lilies in ponds or aquariums for medaka from spring to summer. I also have medaka as pets, and my aquarium contains water lilies.

In recent years, thanks to selective bleeding, many different varieties of both medaka and water lilies have been developed.

Last year, I went to a famous medaka shop in Japan to buy a pair of medaka. These medaka were a variety created by that breeder, called “Cactus.” Those medaka laid many eggs. The medaka here hatched from those eggs.

Today, I spent a truly blissful moment gazing at this water lilies and watching the medaka swimming in the water.
